This experience literally brought us to tears. It truly was the best vacation of our lives. We are already planning our return for next year. This has been the best hotel we have stayed in on this holiday. We were planning to go to the best Western in the middle of Reims *La Paix) but once parking had been added on, it was too expensive. The Golden Tulip is one year old so everything is exceptionally clean, fresh and unmarked. The room we got was a suite. It had a sub-divided section and access to an outside deck (so important for smokers). The parking was free. The breakfast excellent. The woman at the front desk very helpful (I was very low on fuel and I needed a close petrol station which in France, on a sunday, can be tricky to find. WE had had a bad night previously so this place was an enormous relief.
