Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. The private and public onsen were wonderful. They had a lot of variety for the dinner and breakfast. Everything was very clean. The best part was the very nice staff, especially during the meals. I’m terrible with names, but I especially appreciate the waiter who helped us who was originally from Nepal. There was also an older gentleman who made origami for our kids, but every person we me was super kind and genuine. It was also good that many of the staff spoke good English as my Japanese is very limited.

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Very well maintained. Beautiful hotel with rich history. Gardens are great. Staff very warm and welcoming. Good size rooms.

The room was beautifully made in Japanese traditional way. We could use the private onsen and it was very nice and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. Mr Nakadaya helped us a lot, being recommendations on where to go or help with our luggage he was always willing to take an extra step. Will definitely come back if I come to Tokyo again, even if we were not that close Tokyo station we didn't felt the location were bad at all, a tran station was nearby and there were also a lot of things to do around.
